Quirinello – Club Gestern Nacht // Happy Release

Happy Releaseday, Quirinello!

Quirinello’s new single “Club Gestern Nacht” is released today – with NNDW into the smokers’ corner!

“Club Gestern Nacht” is the soundtrack for all those who don’t dance in the limelight, but prefer to hide away from the dance floor in the smokers’ corner. The song tells the story of a quiet moment that changes everything – a fleeting glance, a brief exchange, but the courage to take the first step is missing. With humorous lyrics and a driving beat, “Club Gestern Nacht” captures the longing for closeness and the regret over missed opportunities. The song is part of the upcoming German-language Quirinello album, which will be released in 2025.

“Scheiße, es tut so weh zu wissen, dass ich dich nie mehr seh'” (“Shit, it hurts so much to know that I’ll never see you again”)

On their debut album “melancholyMe” in the fall of 2022, the Munich indie band Quirinello looked deep into the emotional world of Generation Z with their fresh dream pop and “beautifully dreamy sound” (Süddeutsche Zeitung). With lots of reverb, dreamy synths and still in English, the four pack a lot of growing pains and melancholy, providing the perfect home-recording soundtrack for wistful coming-of-age stories in a nostalgic lo-fi aesthetic. Whether tender love, mental health, loneliness or social media: The band around Quirin Müller dares to show vulnerability and depth in their songs – and a hopeful look ahead. With well over 1 million streams, thousands of radio airplays, interviews, much critical acclaim and numerous concerts from Berlin to Hamburg to Munich and festivals such as Haldern Pop later, Quirinello are ushering in a new era: The songs are now in German, darker, even more driving, combining anthemic choruses with screams and interpreting current NNDW, garage rock and indie pop in their very own way. 2025 will see the release of their second album.

The single “Club Gestern Nacht”, which includes the previous three German-language tracks “Wiener Melange”, “Sorgenstau” and “Abspann” as B-sides, can be found on all streaming and download portals.
